After visiting Arakura Mountain we will go for a walk along the famous Honchome street, where you'll have another of the most famous views of Mount Fuji. Honcho Street in Fujiyoshida is a shopping street with traditional architecture and local shops. Its history is linked to its role as "Fuji Michi," or the path to the sacred mountain. The street has historically been an access and pilgrimage route to Mount Fuji. Its cultural significance stems from its direct connection to the sacred mountain and the spectacular views it offers.

Next head to Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, where you can appreciate culture, history and religion. The shrine is part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, designated in 2013.. This shrine is said to have over 1,900 years of history, with origins dating back to 100 AD, when it was built as a small shrine to honour the legendary prince Yamato Takeru during his passage through the region. It is the true and ancient northern entrance to Mount Fuji, the starting point of a long pilgrimage route to the sacred mountain.

After visiting this historic and beautiful place we will go to visit Oishi Park, built in front of Lake Kawaguchiko with all the stones that the local people recover from the Mt.Fuji, the stones that the sacred mountain through around the lake in a strong eruptions , this park was built in memory of all the eruptions of Fuji in front of the lake. Walk through two beautiful gardens with seasonal flowers, enjoy 14 delicious flavours of creamy ice cream, and buy fruits from the area as well as souvenirs. Various flowers bloom on the promenade along the lakeside according to the season. On a sunny day, there are many photographers who take pictures of Mt. Fuji, lake and flowers from early morning. There is a large free car park and is popular as a rest area of the touring of a bicycle and the motorcycle. You will feel calm if you stroll slowly in the promenade where flowers bloom while looking at Mt.Fuji. There are many restaurants in this area and we can have lunch here.

Appare” is the sightseeing cruise where you can take 25-minute cruises around Lake Kawaguchiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. Set sail from Appare pier on the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko and cruise under Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge to swing by Unoshima, the only island in the Fuji Five lakes, before making a U-turn back home. Prepare to gaze upon Mt. Fuji like you’ve never seen her before. With a full-on Japanese exterior design, this tour boat is designed after an Atakebune warship used by warlord Takeda Shingen’s fleet in the warring states period. It’s especially popular for its flashy exterior, which incorporates designs from the “Akazonae” military unit and 4-diamond Takeda family crest. The boat interior even features a Japanese styled design with unpainted wood that’s reminiscent of tatami. There’s even a military “gunbai” fan and “haori” jacket to rent if you’re in the mood to snap a photo while looking like a Japanese seafarer.
