Once you reach the point of Alto Tirone, hop out and begin your meandering 30-minute hike up to the crater of Mount Vesuvius. Learn about the history of the volcano and its dramatic eruption that had such a devastating impact on the ancient city of Pompeii. Once you take in the views and spend some time at the peak, wind your way back to ground level and head to a local winery.

During a tasting experience at the Le Cantine del Vesuvio winery, learn about the fascinating winemaking process before sampling 3 of the farm’s own delicious wines: a white, a red, and a rosé.
