Day 2: Kim Noi, Mo De
Start your day with a warm, home-cooked breakfast and a motorbike pick-up to the starting point of the trek. On this day, the guide will take you to visit the most beautiful terraced rice fields in Ruộng Bậc Thang Kim Noi, Háng Đăng Dê and admire the stunning Võng Lúa (Móng Ngựa) Mù Cang Chải. Lunch is included at a scenic rest point like the first day.
As you trek, pass through H’mong villages and meet locals working in the rice fields, tending buffalo, or sewing clothes at home. Gain a deeper understanding of how the H’mong people live and adapt in the remote mountain region. Depending on the season, you might even get the chance to try local farming activities like planting rice or harvesting by hand with a sickle.
Throughout the journey, your English-speaking H’mong guide will share insights into local life, culture, food, and seasonal activities in the rice terrace region. At the end of the trip, before returning back to your starting point, visit Mu Cang Chai Market, one of the largest and busiest markets in the region, where H’Mong, Thai, and Kinh people trade goods.
