What you can expect
, ,
This sacred dance and prayer, Wachumayu, is a living ritual that calls upon the spirit of the land and the healing energies of San Pedro (Wachuma). Rooted in ancient wisdom, particularly from the Nazca culture, Wachumayu deeply connects us with the natural world—our apus (sacred mountains), Pachamama (Mother Earth), and the vital forces of water. In this ceremony, we dance for 4 hours in one direction, creating a vortex of energy, and then for 4 hours in the opposite direction. This sacred movement activates healing for Pachamama, honouring the solstice energies and the balance of the universe. The ceremony aligns with the solstice, the longest night of the year, marking a powerful time for transformation, release, and renewal.
From December 19-22, we invite you to experience this powerful solstice ceremony, where the Wachumayu Dance of the Cactus becomes a transformative journey through sacred ritual and healing practices. This sacred retreat is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, nature, and the medicine that flows through us all.
