Following Korbel, we continue deeper into nature with a visit to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Here, you’ll walk among towering ancient redwoods, including the famous Colonel Armstrong Tree, which is estimated to be over 1,000 years old. You can choose to spend anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half exploring the reserve at your own pace, soaking in the tranquility and awe-inspiring scale of these majestic trees. If you opt for a shorter visit, we’ll take you onward to the charming riverside town of Guerneville.
In city centre Guerneville, enjoy free time to stroll through this quaint American town, browse local shops, or grab a bite to eat at one of the casual cafés or eateries. It’s a relaxed stop that offers a taste of local life and a chance to unwind before the afternoon wine experience.
Our final tasting destination is Russian River Vineyards, where you’ll enjoy wine with stunning views overlooking the vines themselves. Known for producing award-winning wines, this vineyard prides itself on being farmer-first, maintaining a deep connection to the land and their craft. The on-site restaurant offers a selection of delicious sandwiches, fresh salads, and small bites, which you can enjoy alongside your tasting for a truly immersive vineyard experience.
