Start your morning in the heart of Naxos Town with an authentic food experience that combines Greek coffee, premium honey tasting, local bites, and a relaxed walk through the old town before ending in the port with ouzo and meze. Hosted inside our new central Real Wanderers workshop, this experience is designed for travellers who want an easy, welcoming introduction to Naxian flavours without anything too heavy or complicated.
We begin in our workshop, located on one of the most central streets of Naxos Town. Here you’ll be welcomed with a freshly prepared Greek coffee and a small selection of traditional sweet bites. You’ll learn the basics of Greek coffee culture and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere before moving on to the highlight of this first stop: a guided honey tasting session. Using different local varieties, you’ll discover how to recognise real Greek honey, understand its aromas and textures, and taste the differences between each type. It’s interactive, simple, and perfect for anyone curious about Naxian products.
After the honey tasting, we take a short walk to a small local shop for a cheese sampling, where you’ll try a few traditional cheeses made on the island. These are offered in small, easy bites so you can enjoy the flavour without feeling full early in the tour. From there, we continue through the old town, moving through quiet streets and historic corners that many visitors miss. Along the way, we make a stop to try local olives and small bites from a family-run store—another chance to taste everyday flavours from Naxos.
Our final stop brings us to the port of Naxos Town, where you’ll sit down for an ouzo and a light meze plate. This is not a heavy lunch—just a relaxed, flavourful ending with classic Naxian tastes such as marinated fish, seasonal spreads, or simple vegetarian bites depending on the day. It’s the perfect moment to unwind, ask questions, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere of the port as the fishing boats and local life pass by.
This experience is designed to feel personal, welcoming, and easy to follow—suitable for couples, friends, families, and solo travellers. It’s also ideal for visitors who want to explore the food culture of Naxos without committing to a long walking tour or large quantities of food. Each stop is carefully chosen to show you a different side of local life, from the morning traditions at our workshop to the flavours of the old town and the relaxed finish at the port.
Join us for a morning filled with authentic tastes, friendly conversation, and a warm introduction to Naxian gastronomy—starting right in the centre of town.
