Then, in the heart of the island's serene countryside, we'll embark on a brief 10-minute hike to encounter one of Naxos' most significant Byzantine treasures, where the atmosphere is nothing short of ethereal. This sacred site invites you to immerse yourself in the island's profound spirituality * Visiting the inside of the temple is available from June to end of September.
Our exploration of Halki village's picturesque alleyways continues, and we wrap up this part of the journey with a traditional treat at one of the charming local cafes.
Anticipation builds as we head back, for the true gem awaits – a visit to a local winery in Glinado village, where we'll explore the art of winemaking and savour exquisite Naxian wine and finger-food pairings. This enchanting vineyard tour is complete with a passionate host brimming with warmth and knowledge.
