What you can expect

An experience on Europe’s highest active volcano, combining nature, culture, and local flavours.

Departure at 9:30 AM from our agency.

As you ascend the slopes of Mount Etna, you will see lava fronts from ancient flows (specifically the eruptions of 1886, 1983, 2001, and 2002) and admire the stunning lunar landscapes of Etna Park.
The excursion includes a trek to explore both ancient and new craters; you will see houses surrounded by lava and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Ionian coast from above.
Our guides will captivate you with stories about mysterious volcanic phenomena, the natural environment, and the history of the people who have lived on Etna’s slopes for centuries.

Before returning to Catania, there will be a brief tasting of local products.

This Etna tour is suitable for the whole family, including children under 12 and seniors.

This excursion is also available during the winter season; where necessary, participants will be provided with snowshoes for walking on snowy slopes.
