Get ready to surf Noosa like a local. This surf experience is hosted by Craig Davies, a lifelong surfer, Queensland Longboard Champion, and the owner of Foam & Resin Surf Hire. With over 47 years in the water and deep knowledge of the Sunshine Coast’s waves, Craig will guide you through a relaxed, highly personalised surf session tailored to your level and style.

The session begins at our surf shop on Hastings Street, where you’ll meet Craig and chat about your experience level, confidence in the water, and what you'd like to get out of the session. Based on that, he’ll choose the ideal board for you — whether it’s a soft-top for a beginner or a performance board for more advanced surfers.

From there, you’ll walk or drive to the best local spot for the day’s conditions. This might be one of Noosa’s famous inner points like First Point or a beach break down at Sunshine, depending on tides, swell, and wind.

On the beach, Craig will give you a short but effective briefing. You’ll go over basic technique (or more advanced tips if you’re ready), safety, and how to get the most out of your time in the water.

Then it's time to surf. With Craig in the water with you, you'll get real-time advice, encouragement, and a few laughs as you catch waves suited to your level. Whether you’re catching your first foamie ride or trimming down a long wall, this is about building your skills and having fun.

After the session, you’ll return to the shop, stoked and salty.

This experience is open to all skill levels, and all surf gear is included.
