Your journey begins with a scenic ride through the French countryside to Sainte-Mère-Église, a small town that became the first to be liberated by Allied forces on D-Day. Explore the Airborne Museum and see the famous church tower where an American paratrooper famously got caught during the landings.
Next, head to Utah Beach, one of the original American landing beaches. Walk the coastline where soldiers braved heavy fire to begin the liberation of France. Continue to Pointe du Hoc, where you’ll stand atop dramatic cliffs still scarred by shell impacts, a powerful reminder of the fierce battles that took place here.
Your next stop is Omaha Beach & American Cemetery, where you’ll visit Omaha Beach, the bloodiest of all the landing sites, and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, where thousands of white crosses stretch towards the horizon in solemn tribute to the fallen.
Finally, visit Arromanches-les-Bains (Mulberry Harbour), a peaceful seaside town that played a vital logistical role during D-Day. The remains of the Mulberry Harbour still rest offshore, a symbol of the incredible engineering and bravery behind the operation.
After a day steeped in history, your driver will bring you comfortably back to Paris, passing through Normandy’s tranquil countryside as you reflect on the stories of courage and sacrifice that shaped Europe’s freedom.
Please note, tickets and entrance fees are not included in the ride price.
