This park features mangrove forests, saltmarshes, and paper-barked tea tree swamps, supporting a variety of wildlife, including the vulnerable wallum froglet and false water-rat. With over 200 recorded bird species, the park is a haven for birdwatchers, offering sightings of pelicans, whimbrels, and sandpipers. You might also spot kangaroos or swamp wallabies as you ride.
