Overview

Aloha! My name is Lindsey, and I'd love to share the beauty of Oahu with you!

Escape the crowded bus tours and discover Oahu through the eyes of a local on a private, unforgettable island adventure. This personalised experience is designed for small groups of up to six guests, allowing you to enjoy Hawaii at a relaxed pace while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Explore Oahu's breathtaking North Shore, charming Haleiwa Town, stunning coastal viewpoints, famous surf beaches, Laie Point, and other hidden gems. Along the way, we'll stop at some of the island's favourite local food spots, where you can experience the authentic flavours of Hawaii.

As a local guide, I'll share stories about my Hawaiian culture, history, and island life while helping you discover the true spirit of aloha—including a fun introduction to the Hawaiian language!

Activity itinerary

Dole Plantation

  • 1h 30m
  • Admission ticket not included
During our visit to the famous Dole Plantation, you will get to choose one of three incredible activities to experience. You can climb aboard the Pineapple Express Train for a fully narrated, 20-minute ride that takes you through the history of the island's pineapple industry. If you prefer a bit of adventure, you can test your skills in the massive Pineapple Garden Maze, a fun and interactive puzzle that typically takes 30 to 45 minutes to solve. Alternatively, you can slow things down with a peaceful, 1-hour Plantation Garden Tour to wander through beautiful tropical flora and learn about local agriculture. Whichever tour you choose, no trip here is complete without treating yourself to a world-famous, delicious Dole Whip!

Green World Coffee Farms

  • 30m
Sample some of their coffee and teas. Explore the coffee bean farm.

North Shore Macadamia Nut Company

  • 30m
Our next stop is the North Shore Macadamia Nut Company, a charming, rustic farm on the Kamehameha Highway. It is the perfect place to sample fresh, locally grown Hawaiian treats beneath the shade of beautiful, massive trees. You can crack open raw macadamia nuts using traditional tools right on the property, try free samples of unique flavours like garlic onion, honey roasted, or coffee glaze, and sip on their famous, complimentary local coffee. It is a fantastic, authentic island experience that offers a true taste of Oahu's agricultural roots.

Laniakea Beach

  • 30m
Where our Honu(Turtles) do their nesting. Sometimes you will see them laying on the beach. Sometimes you will see them poking their heads outside of the water.

Ted's Bakery

  • 30m
Next, we will stop by Ted's Bakery, a beloved North Shore landmark famous for its casual island eats and legendary desserts. Located right on the Kamehameha Highway near Sunset Beach, this local favourite is world-renowned for its signature Chocolate Haupia Cream Pie—a heavenly layered treat of smooth dark chocolate pudding and haupia (traditional Hawaiian coconut pudding), topped with whipped cream. It is the perfect spot to grab a slice of paradise, enjoy a local-style plate lunch, and fuel up for the rest of our coastal tour.

Kahuku Sugar Mill

  • 1h 30m
  • Admission ticket not included
Food trucks are what the North Shore is known for—besides our world-class waves! There are so many incredible options to choose from, including: - Giovanni's Shrimp Lorry: Famous for their mouthwatering garlic shrimp. - Kalbi on Fire: Their Korean short ribs are absolutely the best! - Mike's Huli Huli Chicken: Delicious, tender smoked chicken. - Local Thai Food: Authentic, flavourful dishes and many more options. Please note that some trucks are cash-only. They give you a generous amount of food, so you definitely won't leave hungry!

Kahuku Farms

  • 30m
Try fresh fruit from local farms, individually packaged and ready for you to enjoy! We will also have fresh banana bread and banana lumpia available. Please bring cash just in case, as some stands do not accept cards.

North Shore (Pass by)

Driving along side the different Northshore beaches. Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach and pipeline, where all of our surf competitions happen.

Laie Point State Wayside Park

  • 30m
Our next stop takes us out to Laie Point State Wayside Park, a hidden gem located at the very end of Naupaka Street. This coastal lookout offers breathtaking, panoramic views of Oahu’s windward side and the powerful Pacific Ocean crashing against the rugged limestone cliffs.

Nu’uanu Pali

  • 30m
This beautiful location also holds deep historical significance. It was the site of the fierce Battle of Nuʻuanu in 1795, a pivotal clash where King Kamehameha I conquered Oahu to finally unite the Hawaiian Islands under one rule.

Halona Blowhole

  • 30m
Our journey takes us along the scenic Kalanianaʻole Highway to witness the dramatic power of the Hālona Blowhole. Formed thousands of years ago by molten lava tubes, this natural geological wonder acts like an ocean geyser. When large waves crash into the rocky coastline, the water gets forced up through a narrow opening in the volcanic rock, sending a spectacular geyser of sea spray blasting up to 30 feet into the air!

Makapu'u Point

  • 30m
Next, we will stop at the stunning Makapuʻu Point lookout. Situated on the easternmost tip of Oahu, this breathtaking vantage point sits high above the vibrant, turquoise waters of Makapuʻu Beach, offering endless panoramic views of the windward coast.
