About this activity:
Escape the crowded beaches and discover the best-kept secret of Ceará's coastline. On this off-road experience, you'll explore the breathtaking Lençóis de Paracuru, an untouched paradise of pristine white sand dunes, crystal clear lagoons, and natural pools that appear like mirages in the middle of the desert.
What you'll do (Itinerary)
Heading to the Wild West: Your adventure begins in the morning with pickup in Fortaleza in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. Along the way, our licensed guide will share fascinating stories about the culture, the wind route, and the mysteries of Ceará's west coast.
The Pedra Rachada Refuge: Our first stop is at the support point on Pedra Rachada Beach. Known for its volcanic rock formations and natural pools formed at low tide, it's the perfect setting to relax before the adrenaline kicks in.
2.5-Hour Buggy Expedition (The Highlight): Board the buggy for an exciting 2.5-hour ride through the Lençóis de Paracuru. Feel the wind on your face as we cross giant dunes and make strategic stops at secret freshwater lagoons for swimming, spectacular photos, and videos that will impress your social media.
Time to Relax and Enjoy: After the dune adventure, return to the support point by the sea. Enjoy free time to savour the local cuisine (optional lunch), take a swim in the calm waters of Pedra Rachada, or simply relax in the shade.
