This tour of the Algarve Coast takes you to some of the region's most impressive natural settings, combining cliffs, iconic beaches, and unique rock formations along the coast.
The trip begins at Praia da Marinha, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, famous for its golden limestone cliffs and crystal-clear waters. This is where part of the Seven Hanging Valleys trail begins, a scenic path that follows the top of the cliffs and offers stunning views of the ocean. Along the way, iconic rock formations such as the Elephant Rock and the famous Heart stand out as popular spots for photography.
Next is a visit to the Benagil area, where you will see the famous cave from the top of the cliffs. It should be noted that this visit to the Benagil Cave is made by land, via the observation decks at the top of the cliffs, and does not include a boat ride or entry into the cave by sea. Even so, you can appreciate the full scale and beauty of this unique natural formation from one of the best vantage points on the coast.
The route continues to Algar Seco, a coastal area marked by rock formations sculpted by marine erosion, where there are walkways, caves and natural observation decks, including the well-known Gruta da Boneca.
The tour ends at Praia da Senhora da Rocha, a quieter and more sheltered spot, ideal for relaxing, taking a swim, or enjoying lunch by the sea before returning to Olhão.
This experience combines nature, unique coastal landscapes, and some of the Algarve's greatest icons, making it a comprehensive way to explore the coast in a comfortable, panoramic, and memorable way.
