What you can expect

  • In half a day, explore the American D-Day memorial sites in the Omaha Beach sector. Start your exploration at Pointe du Hoc, a German gun battery taken by the American Rangers on the morning of June 6, 1944, before continuing on to Omaha Beach. A stop in Vierville-sur-Mer will give you the opportunity to learn more about the assault by the 29th US Infantry Division and the Big Red One on D-Day. Finally, your day trip will end with a visit to the American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer.
