Overview

Enjoy an exciting and fun kayak and snorkel adventure through the spectacular natural surroundings of the Costa Brava. Perfect for families, groups of friends, and people with no prior experience. Departing from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, you will paddle stable sit-on-top kayaks over crystal-clear waters, exploring coves, islets, cliffs, and hidden spots accessible only from the sea.

Before departure, the instructor will explain basic paddling techniques and safety guidelines. The guide accompanies the group at all times, adapting the pace so everyone can enjoy the experience comfortably while sharing interesting facts about the area.

During the excursion, there will be a stop in a sheltered cove to snorkel and observe the Mediterranean rocky seabed, where fish, sea urchins, and anemones are commonly seen, and—with a bit of luck—starfish or octopuses.

This is a 2-hour activity, suitable for participants aged 7 and over, with no special physical condition required. Double sit-on-top kayaks are mainly used.

Activity itinerary

Led by local professionals with over 30 years of experience at sea and deep knowledge of the Costa Brava, you will discover spectacular coastal spots on a guided, safe experience designed to fully enjoy the Mediterranean. Safety is a top priority, with clear instructions, continuous supervision, and the selection of routes and snorkelling areas according to sea conditions. The route will head north or south depending on conditions at the time, adapting the itinerary to offer the most suitable and attractive option. During the excursion, your guide will share insights into local history, geological formations, cliffs, and marine flora and fauna, with continuous guidance both while kayaking and during snorkelling stops. You will have the opportunity to swim and explore underwater areas in locations chosen for their beauty and safety. High-quality equipment is provided, including stable, easy-to-handle sit-on-top kayaks ideal for beginners, and photos taken during the activity are later shared with participants as a souvenir.
