Begin your ghost tour at Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most dramatic war sites. Built in the late 1500s by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the fortress became the stage for the Siege of Osaka (1614–1615), one of the bloodiest conflicts of the samurai era.

When the Toyotomi clan fell, thousands of soldiers, retainers, and civilians died within and around the walls. Folklore says places shaped by sudden, violent death trap spiritual energy, and Osaka Castle is the textbook case.
