Schedule Meeting: Ikegami-Sone Yayoi Learning Centre ・Viewing of the large pillar structure and the large hollowed-out well (15 minutes) You can see valuable exhibits such as the pillars of a large building from the middle Yayoi period and a large hollowed-out well excavated from the Ikegami-Sone Ancient Site. ・Magatama (jade bead) polishing experience (45 minutes) Polish a jade Magatama. Real jade that has been pre-shaped into a Magatama form is provided. It starts rough and matte, and becomes glossy by sanding and polishing. ・Bronze Mirror casting experience (45 minutes) Pour a low-melting-point alloy into a mould. Then polish with sandpaper and polishing compound to create a beautiful mirror surface. ・Viewing of excavated artefacts and ecosystem displays from the Yayoi period (15 minutes) End of the tour at Ikegami-Sone Yayoi Learning Centre
