What you can expect

  • Osaka Private Kimono Photoshoot & Rental — Please Read Before Booking
Welcome to our exclusive Osaka studio, with free luggage storage! Solo, couple or family, your private experience is crafted around you.

    Our experiences:

    1. Osaka Discovery: Authentic Komon Kimono & Private Tour: a refined classic — an authentic Komon kimono (Yukata in summer) with a 1-hour private photoshoot at iconic locations, all originals + a generous set of expertly retouched images.
    2. Exquisite Furisode Kimono & Private Cinematic Tour: our ultimate luxury — a curated premium Furisode for a formal, elegant look, with a private walking tour and 1-hour professional photoshoot, all originals + even more retouched images.

Included in every option: dressing from our extensive collection for women and men, hair styling (usually for women with sufficient hair length), obi, kimono bag, Geta or Zori sandals and brand-new Tabi socks. Full-face makeup is not included.

Your day with us: Your booking time is your studio arrival; please allow time for dressing and hair. Then enjoy a documentary, editorial-style photo tour with a seasoned local photographer and English-speaking guide, who will kindly coach you on posing and Japanese etiquette so every shot feels natural. We tailor locations to your wishes and the day's crowds, finding the best angles and hidden cinematic corners.

    Good to know:

    • Hair styling offers 4 simple set styles; for a specific look, we recommend adding a hair upgrade when booking.
    • Children are very welcome! Kids' kimono start from 80cm tall; choice per size is a little limited as sizes vary widely. Little ones can also join photos in their own clothes.
    • Retouched photos are per booking, not per person, shared by your group; extras can be added via GetYourGuide.
    • Popular spots in Osaka's beloved historic streets may need a short wait in peak seasons; your photographer will look after you throughout.
We can't wait to welcome you!
