Outrigger canoe surfing is an excellent activity provides an opportunity to surf waves on an outrigger canoe, without engaging in a surf lesson. Your adventure begins with a short safety briefing led by our experienced steersman. We’ll cover essential paddling techniques, and safety protocols. Once everyone is briefed and geared up, you'll board our traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe. Our guide will ensure you’re comfortable and ready to paddle. Paddling Along the Coastline: Paddle along the beautiful Kalapaki Beach coastline. Enjoy the stunning views of the clear, calm waters and surrounding landscape. Catching Waves: The highlight of the experience—surfing the waves! Under the expert guidance of our skilled watermen, you’ll catch 3-4 waves. Feel the thrill and excitement of riding the ocean swells in a traditional outrigger canoe, just like the ancient Hawaiians. Return to Shore: After an exhilarating time catching waves, you’ll paddle back to the shore, where you can reflect on the experience and share your excitement with fellow participants and take photos.
