Pacaya is an active volcano located in the municipality of San Vicente Pacaya in the department of Escuintla, Guatemala.

You will be picked up at your hotel in Guatemala City and Transfer to National Park Pacaya Volcano sometimes we will be transfer via Antigua Guatemala so you have other people to share your experience with.

Upon arrival at the Park you will be waiting for our local guide, an expert in the area which will fill you with all your knowledge.

Explore the landscapes of scenic, 8,373-foot (2,552-m) Pacaya by hiking all the way to the top of the volcano and admire an up-close view of its crater. Get a glimpse of the lava on the crater’s bottom and experience the energy of an active volcano.

At the end of our walk we will reach a rocky and arid area where we can see the volcano and lava flows, where we can cook marshmallows. Time to take photographs.

We will begin our descent and during our journey we will find the Lava Store where you can buy a souvenir made with volcanic material, if you want.

After the visit we will move to the Hot Springs where we can enjoy the properties of them. We will enjoy a delicious lunch (included)
