Winter stretches on, icy and silent. Along a forgotten path, your small group of adventurers makes its way towards an ancient temple, guided by age-old legends. These legends speak of a sacred artefact, the source of all magic. But what you are about to discover is beyond anything you could have imagined…

At the turn of a stone bridge, a figure awaits you. The old man is covered in dust, and strange symbols are embroidered on his robe. His gaze is not hostile, but he trembles with an urgency that cannot be feigned.

“You did not come here by chance,” he says in a hoarse voice. He tells you that a thousand years ago, a cursed artefact was sealed away: the Black Egg. An ancient ritual, imbued with magic, kept it imprisoned, along with the demon who created it. But the spell is weakening. To restore it, he needs you.

He begs you, “Help me. By sunset, it will be too late.”
