Enjoy an authentic experience in the Patagonian steppe and discover Patagonia from a unique perspective: on horseback, surrounded by immense landscapes and rural traditions.
The day begins with a transfer from the city to a historic ranch located in the heart of the steppe. As we move away from Bariloche, the landscape gradually changes: the Andean forests give way to the vastness of Patagonia, where open valleys, rolling hills, and infinite horizons define the character of this region.
Upon arrival at the ranch, you'll be greeted with a traditional country breakfast, the perfect time to start connecting with the surroundings. While you enjoy this warm welcome, our tour guides will give a short introductory talk about the activity and share information about the flora and fauna that are characteristic of the Patagonian steppe.
Then you will meet the horses and receive the necessary instructions before starting the ride. No previous experience is necessary: our horses are used to the terrain, and the tour guides accompany the group at all times, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience.
The horseback ride begins by heading onto natural trails that run through the vastness of the steppe. At a leisurely pace, we'll cross gentle slopes, wide valleys, and vantage points that allow us to appreciate the true scale of the Patagonian landscape.
During the tour, the tour guides will share stories about life in the countryside, the gaucho culture, and the characteristics of this unique ecosystem. The steppe is also home to various species of wildlife; with a bit of luck, and if nature permits, it is possible to observe majestic birds such as the Andean condor soaring through the skies or even a deer moving in the distance in the open landscape.
The relaxed pace of the ride allows you to fully enjoy the silence, the clean air, and the sense of freedom offered by this incomparable natural environment.
Back at the Estancia, the experience continues with one of the great stars of Argentinean culture: the asado. In a warm and rural atmosphere, you can enjoy a traditional Patagonian-style barbecue, sharing the table in a unique natural setting.
After lunch, you'll have time to relax, explore the surroundings, and take photos before heading back to the city.
An ideal experience for those who want to discover Patagonia in an authentic way, combining nature, culture, and gastronomy in one unforgettable day.
