The trail follows ancient mule tracks that once connected the hamlet of Nocelle near Positano with Bomerano, in Agerola. The trail winds through terraced slopes, past abandoned farmhouses, and across Mediterranean scrubland.

Along the way, you may encounter shepherds with their mules, as well as glimpses of wildlife like kestrels, peregrine falcons, and lizards. In spring, the path is adorned with vibrant orchids, heather, and myrtle. Depending on the season, weather, and traffic, your guide will lead you along one of two different routes: Nocelle to Nocelle or Bomerano to Bomerano.
