Peking Opera has a 200-year history and is considered a national treasure. In the heart of Beijing's city centre (near Qianmen), there sits a Yangtze-style park built during Emperor Qianlong's reign, and our activity takes place in a Peking Opera theatre within this park. You can tour the traditional opera theatre stage for free and try on Peking Opera costumes (additional cost of $41). You'll spend 1.5 hours here, creating your own Peking Opera facial mask souvenir to take home as a memento of Beijing's traditional culture.
