Immerse yourself in the flavours of Thailand with a cooking class in a real Thai home in Phuket. Choose between a cooking class or a market tour and cooking class combo. Learn from Chef Pui, a Le Cordon Bleu Dusit graduate, who is passionate, knowledgeable, and fluent in English.
Rather than just giving you a recipe to follow blindly, she focuses on teaching the fundamentals of Thai cuisine, balancing flavours, and explaining how to replicate the dishes back home with sustainable or alternative ingredients.
Classes are highly interactive, hands-on, and kept small—usually limited to 2 to 6 students per class, meaning you get a lot of personal attention.
For a minimum of 24 hours advance booking you can select 4 dishes to cook from their “Top 20” menu, which is great because you aren’t locked into a rigid set menu like last minute booking. For advance booking, they are incredibly accommodating to dietary restrictions, offering excellent vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal alternatives.
Popular dishes include curries from scratch like green curry, panang, or massaman (including crafting your own curry paste), classics like pad Thai, tom yum goong, and tom kha gai, street food and salads like stir-fried basil (pad kra prao), green papaya salad (som tum), and glass noodle salad, and desserts like mango sticky rice or banana in coconut milk. Just to name a few.
The kitchen is a modern, clean, and air-conditioned studio in Chef Pui's own home.
Reviewers consistently note that it feels less like a commercial tourist attraction and more like a fun dinner party. Plus, because you cook everything yourself, you get to sit down at the end and eat a massive feast of your own creation.
