What you can expect

  • The piano soirees at Nymphenburg Palace have been delighting audiences since April 2025. In the one-hour concert without intermission, international prizewinners perform works ranging from Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven to Schubert and Chopin in programmes that change weekly.

The Johannissaal is located in the right side wing of the palace and is not connected to the museum. You can spend the afternoon before the concert taking a walk through the park of Nymphenburg Palace and enjoying the unique architecture of the birthplace of King Ludwig II.
