Guests will move through Pike Place Market with an expert host, stopping along the way to sample carefully selected foods that illustrate key flavour principles used by chefs and sommeliers. Rather than simply tasting wine and food side by side, guests are guided through a progressive flavour journey—learning how sweetness, acidity, salt, fat, herbs, and sour elements affect the palate and transform how wine is perceived. The experience culminates at White Heron Cellars’ tasting room, where guests apply what they’ve learned in a unique, interactive wine tasting overlooking Puget Sound.
