Enjoy a unique experience in the heart of the Florentine hills with a guided tour of Poppiano Castle and its medieval tower. The tour begins with a visit to the Maturation & Ageing Cellar, where you’ll learn the secrets of ageing local wines.

Next, you’ll visit the castle’s oil mill, where you’ll get an up-close look at the production of extra-virgin olive oil, including the prestigious Laudemio, a symbol of the region’s quality. As you ascend to the Vinsantaia (Vinsanto cellar) in the Great Tower, you will be able to admire the Vinsanto ageing barrels and enjoy a panoramic view of the Florentine hills.

Your visit concludes with a guided tasting of 4 selected wines and 2 extra-virgin olive oils, paired with “Fettunta” bread, local charcuterie and cheese, as well as Vinsanto and traditional almond Cantuccini. All products are exclusively local and prepared upon reservation, ensuring you enjoy an authentic and immersive experience of the flavours of Tuscany.
