What you can expect

Discover the City of Portsmouth’s rich history on a guided bike tour with a one-on-one small group experience. Your tour guide will take you through the five distinctive districts of Portsmouth while stopping en route. You'll pass by the Piscataqua River and through the beautifully preserved historic South End. From here, your guide will take you into other historic areas and off the beaten track to see a few hidden historic sites.

Meet your guide 30 minutes prior to your departure time to get fitted with your bike. You’ll hear a short briefing about the rules of the road, bike safety, and bike operation. Children and families are most welcome!

What to Expect:

At your selected departure time, meet 30 minutes before your tour start time to get fitted for a 21-speed hybrid comfort bike at the John Paul Jones Historic House, and embark on a bike tour of Portsmouth's historic landmarks, monuments, and memorials.

Youth 20 and 24-inch bicycle (We request that the youth be able to ride for two hours, take directions from a guide and ride in a straight line. )
