What you can expect
Discover Prague’s greatest hits, highlights and must-see landmarks on this full day sightseeing tour with a local guide. But that’s not all – you’ll also enjoy a traditional lunch and take a cruise down the scenic Vltava River on a replica 19th century sailing ship (with a local Pilsner, of course) for a fun-filled overview of Prague.
Your tour starts from the Municipal House, the most beautiful Art Nouveau gem in Prague. From there, you will wander around the compact Old Town, winding through narrow alleyways lined with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches and palaces.
Next up, it’s time to eat like a local! You'll stop at a traditional restaurant in the Lesser Town for a typical Czech meal. After relaxing over lunch, head to the riverside and hop aboard a replica 19th-century sailboat for your cruise down the Vltava River. Enjoy the scenic ride while sipping Czech beer, lemonade or a hot drink.
Back on dry land, you’ll head across the bridge, stopping to stare up at its many towers and statues. As you enter the Lesser Town, jump aboard a local tram to take an uphill ride to Prague Castle. This is the world’s largest castle complex and no visit to Prague is complete without wandering through its magnificent structures.
See the most astonishing cathedral in the country and learn how Gothic cathedrals were built in the 14th century by means of a medieval crane - and yes, cranes did exist all those years ago! The tour ends at Prague Castle, but be sure to ask your guide for even more tips on what to see and do in Prague.
