Activity itinerary

Discover one of Colombia’s most scenic destinations on this full day tour of Guatapé, full of culture, history, nature and typical flavours. We start with a traditional breakfast that will give you energy for the rest of the day. Then we will visit Alto del Chocho, a viewpoint with panoramic views of the mountains and reservoir. Continue to the Pueblo del Peñol and its replica of the old Peñol, where you will know the history of the original town that was submerged to build the dam. Enjoy a boat trip around Guatapé Dam, surrounded by islands, summer houses and stunning natural surroundings. Then we arrive at the Stone of the Peñol, a colossal rock formation 220 metres high (optional climb). We finish in the colourful town of Guatapé, walking along its iconic streets such as Calle de los Memorabilia, Plaza de los Zócalos, the sea wall, the main park and its colonial church. In the middle of the day, you will enjoy a typical lunch included. A complete and fascinating experience in the Antiochian East!
