Start your day off with pickup from select hotels or from your cruise terminal in Praia. Relax in a comfortable car on the transfer to the Plateau area. See historical monuments like the white marble pillory column.

Step back in time as you travel down the UNESCO-listed Banana Street. Admire the 15th-century Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário in the town of Cidade Velha. Head towards the north of the island towards São Domingos to enjoy rugged mountains landscapes and rural villages.

Next, visit the city of Assomada and its traditional fruit and vegetable market (open on Wednesdays and Saturdays). Take in the lush landscapes and rugged peaks of the Serra Malagueta Natural Park that is dotted with traditional villages.

Continue to the Tarrafal region and stop for a break where you can walk on the while sand beach and watch the fishermen go about their daily activities. Return to your meeting point by taking a route along the east coast of the island where you can beaches, bays, fishing villages, and banana and coconut plantations.
