Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the town’s 1,700-year history as one of the best-preserved water towns in the Yangtze River Delta, once a vital trading hub with timeless Jiangnan charm. Upon arrival, explore Zhujiajiao with your guide: wander the cobblestone North Street lined with traditional stone houses and local craft shops, admire the elegant Kezhi Garden (a classic Jiangnan garden with rockeries and ponds), and visit Chenghuangmiao (City God Temple) to feel the town’s ancient cultural vibe.
