Souk El Attarine- The Market of Spices & Secrets. •One of Fes el-Bali's oldest souks, souk El Attarine has sold spices, herbes, and perfumes since the 14th century. Al Andalus Mosque - History in Stone. •Founded in 859 by Mariam Al-Fihri. It was built for refugees who come from Al-Andalus "Córdoba" after a revolt, Wich is why it got the name. The minaret you see today was rebuilt in the 18th century.
