The experience begins at Kastelli Kissamos Old Port, where guests meet the local captain, receive a short safety briefing, and are introduced to the fishing equipment before heading out to sea. This is a hands-on fishing activity focused on active participation rather than a fixed route. Guests take part in the full fishing process alongside an experienced local fisherman, learning traditional techniques, handling equipment, and understanding how local fishing works in real conditions. Fishing takes place within Kissamos Bay, with areas selected on the day based on weather conditions, sea currents, seasonality, and fish activity.
