Hungerford (Pass by)
We drive over the a rare chalk river and through the town of Hungerford, know as the antiques capital of England.
Froxfield (Pass by)
Continuing our driver on the old coaching road to Bath, we pass through the charming village of Froxfield, home to Somerset hospital, a retirement home for widows of the clergy built in the seventeenth century.
Savernake Forest (Pass by)
Before passing through the market town of Marlborough, we'll drive through the ancient royal forest of Savernake,
Marlborough (Pass by)
The market town of Marlborough has the widest street in England with some splendid examples of Georgian architecture. The town is home to Marlborough college attended by some of England's great and the good, (and not so good!) Look out for the ancient mound in the school grounds, said to be the burial place of Merlin the Magician and the round table.
Ridgeway Path National Trail

We stop briefly on the ridgeway path to see up close some ancient Bronze age burial mounds and "The Sanctuary" - part of the dramatic Avebury stone circle landscape.
Avebury Henge and Stone Circles

Here we will take a walk amongst the stones of Avebury, as old as Stonehenge itself to take in the largest pre-historic stone circle in the world.
Cherhill White Horse and Monument

Overlooking Cherhill is the dramatic Lansdowne memorial and the White Horse, a chalk figure carved into the hillside. Nearby are the remnants of an old iron Age fortress
Sandy Lane (Pass by)
Off the beaten track we see some splendid examples of thatched cottages before heading to our first official stop.
Lacock

This remarkably well preserved medieval village features Lacock Abbey, the home of the pioneering photographer, William Henry Fox Talbot. We will take a walk around the town to see the old tythe barn, the old gaol, the church, the old workhouse and some old pubs.
Box Tunnel (Pass by)
Box tunnel, built by the great Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel was part of his project to link London to Bristol.
Bath

We will have a panoramic tour of Bath taking in all the great sites including the Royal Crescent, the Circus, Queen's Square, the Abbey and Pulteney bridge before visiting the Roman Baths.
