The Arènes de Lutèce, located in the 5ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, are an ancient relic dating back to the 1st century AD. They were a Roman amphitheatre capable of seating around 15,000 spectators. Used for gladiatorial combat and other public spectacles, they are one of the few remaining reminders of ancient Lutetia, the former name of Paris.
