What you can expect

  • Leave Busan city for the Gyeongju Historic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the area that embodies the elegant history and culture of Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom. Enjoy a delicious lunch before you take a walk among the ancient ruins.

After a convenient hotel pickup, get to know your guide on the way to Gyeongju. Step into the ancient Seokguram Grotto overlooking the East Sea, and see some of the best Buddhist sculpture works here before moving on to Bulguksa Temple. Admire the 2 stone pagodas, Dabotap and Seokgatap, at the representative relic of Gyeongju—Bulguksa Temple.

Take some time off your feet for a delicious lunch and quick energy boost. Continue on to Tumuli Park and see Cheonmachong or Heavenly Horse Tomb. Wonder at the ancient burial ways and the wood-lined chambers running from east to west.
