Malacca is also one of the oldest trading cities in the world, which is located strategically at the straits of Malacca, which attracted the attention of the big powers such as The Portugees, The Dutch and The British. Today, Stadhuys hosts a museum showcasing a wide variety of Malaccan artefacts. At the end of the tour, you will get the chance to admire the surviving gate of the Portuguese fortress, A Famosa. One of the oldest European structures built in Southeast Asia back in the year 1511.
