With over 20 years of experience teaching Japanese cooking and more than 3 years of hosting international guests, I will help you create unforgettable memories during your trip to Japan.

Throughout the class, I will take photos and videos of your experience and share them with you after the lesson, so you can cherish the memories and recreate the dishes at home using the recipes provided.

Activity itinerary

Experience authentic Japanese home cooking and culture in a local Osaka home. Make two types of ramen completely from scratch, starting with the broth, and learn how to prepare handmade gyoza from the skin. You’ll also create traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi) and enjoy a traditional matcha tea ceremony. Learn the secrets of dashi stock, Japanese cooking techniques, plating, and table manners. After cooking, relax and enjoy the meal you’ve prepared together. Take home all recipes so you can recreate the dishes yourself. We will also capture your experience with photos and videos and share the files with you as a special memory of your time in Japan.
