Next, visit the Kiama Blowhole, the world’s largest natural blowhole, blasting seawater 30 meters high. Arrive in Huskisson for a seaside lunch at the marina then join your cruise. Choose a spacious vessel or high-speed boat to find resident dolphins (at extra cost).

Our return retraces the scenic Illawarra coast, winding back along the freeway in those sweeping Pacific views once more before a drop-off at your Sydney hotel.

This single, extended stop is designed for complete relaxation and world-class marine discovery. Your time in Huskisson includes: Dolphin or Whale Watching: Depart from the wharf on an optional cruise to see the bay’s famous bottlenose dolphins or migrating whales (seasonal). White Sand Foreshore: Enjoy a stroll along the Huskisson foreshore to experience the region's legendary "whitest sand" and turquoise waters. Bayside Village Life: With your Mercedes V-Class parked nearby, you have total flexibility to enjoy a gourmet lunch at a waterfront café or browse the local boutique shops at your own pace.

Kiama Blowhole

Witness the raw power of the Pacific Ocean at the Kiama Blowhole, the largest natural ocean blowhole in the world. Formed from basalt volcanic rock over 260 million years ago, this geological marvel is a must-see on the South Coast. Under the right conditions, ocean swells surge into the subterranean cavern, building immense pressure before erupting in a spectacular plume of spray that has been recorded reaching over 30 meters (100 feet) into the air. We time our visit to avoid the large tour bus arrivals, allowing you to experience the famous "whoosh" and the historic Kiama Lighthouse in peace.

Huskisson

Arrive at the vibrant Huskisson Wharf, the gateway to Jervis Bay’s turquoise waters. Before your Dolphin Watching Cruise, enjoy free time for lunch at a waterfront café or the historic Huskisson Hotel. This central stop in the maritime village allows you to soak up the local atmosphere and prepare for your marine adventure at your own pace. Drop in for coffee and stunning views over the Illawarra region and Wollongong. An ideal location on the top of the escarpment 400 meters above sea level looking along the coast.

One of only 7 in the world this famous bridge designed as a parallel-to-shore bridge used to separate the coast road away from steep cliff edges. Used in many car commercials tourism promotions and street directory covers.
