This Mt Fuji hiking and sightseeing tour is designed for travellers who find the full Mt Fuji summit climb too demanding in terms of time and physical effort, especially on a day trip from Tokyo. Instead of climbing to the main summit, this experience focuses on Mt Hoei, the largest parasitic volcano of Mt Fuji, combining hiking with selected sightseeing spots to enjoy Mt Fuji efficiently and comfortably. The tour is offered as a private experience and can be customised based on your group’s fitness level, interests, and daily weather conditions. Two course options are available. The Short Course includes an easy return hike to the Hoei Crater. It is recommended for families with children, beginner hikers, and travellers who want to combine light hiking with sightseeing. This course usually includes hiking plus visits to three or four locations such as lava caves, waterfalls, lakes, or forest areas. The Long Course is for guests who want to spend more time hiking. This option aims for the summit of Mt Hoei and focuses more on walking time, with sightseeing kept to a minimum. Depending on pace and conditions, the hike may be combined with a visit to Shiraito Falls.
