What you can expect

Visiting one of the numerous Karen Long Neck villages in Thailand is an extraordinary and culturally enriching experience. The tradition of using brass rings for exaggerated jewellery holds a profound mystery and beauty that is best witnessed in person rather than through mere descriptions.

The Long Neck women have the autonomy to decide whether to wear the rings, as it holds cultural significance and fosters a sense of community.

Visiting the Karen's Long Neck tribe is deemed ethically sound as it sustains their livelihood as refugees in Thailand and offers a source of revenue, particularly during trying times such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

And there's this really cool place in Chiang Mai called the Sticky Waterfall. You can climb the limestone rocks there, and it's quite easy, not slippery. It's like you have gecko hands and feet; you can just stick to the rocks and climb up. And after that, I'll take you to a local spot for some delicious lunch.
At this waterfall area, if you are interested in visiting the Seven-Colored Fountain or the source of the water, there is a small hiking trail that winds through the trees. As you make your way to the Seven-Colored Fountain, which is now the source of the waterfall, you may be delighted by the melodious sounds of birds singing.

For the temple.
In the heart of the mountain forest lies a serene temple, primarily frequented by locals for meditation practices. On special occasions, particularly significant Buddhist holidays, visitors are captivated by the breathtaking beauty and tranquility of the upper cave. Ascending the Naga steps, one encounters numerous Buddha statues enshrined within this sacred cavern, offering a profound spiritual experience.
