Lago Negro

It's worth a glimpse and enchantment. Initially it was called Vale do Bom Retiro. After a fire that destroyed the immense forest in the region, Leopoldo Rosenfeldt built the lake, decorating its banks with trees imported from the Black Forest of Germany, hence its name, Black Lake. Its waters are deep and dark green, reflecting the height of the pine trees that alternative with the colour of azaleas in winter and the blue of hydrangeas in summer. Along its entire shore there is a flower-filled promenade, allowing you to walk. However, the biggest attraction is the pedal boats, which give the lake a happy and busy colour.
