Overview

  • Most wine tours hand you a fixed route. We start with one question: where do you actually want to go?

Fredericksburg is 90 minutes from Austin. You’ll be tasting all day. Usually someone ends up sipping water while everyone else has fun, or worse, drives home after one too many. Not on our watch. We drive. Everyone drinks. Everyone gets home safe.

Three wineries, 45 minutes each, plus an hour for lunch. Four hours in town, seven hours door to door. Never rushed.

    Not sure where to start?

William Chris — only Texas winery ever on the World’s 50 Best list
Signor Vineyards — Texas’ Most Beautiful Vineyard
Barons Creek — Spanish Mission tasting room with fountain courtyard

Lunch is your call: Texas BBQ, Italian, or schnitzel and a cold beer at a German biergarten.

Private return from Austin. Your group, your pace, your wineries.

Activity itinerary

Das Peach Haus

  • 1h
A laid-back stop surrounded by peach trees, gardens, and a big Hill Country lake. Grab a fresh peach cobbler with ice cream, wander the grounds, and settle in with a glass of wine by the water.

Signor Vineyards

  • 1h
A 200-acre estate with vineyards, gardens, open spaces, and Texas Hill Country all around. There are places to wander, cows grazing on the property, and plenty of spots to settle in with a glass of wine. The kind of place where everyone seems to want to stay a little longer.

Augusta Vin Winery

  • 1h
A beautiful estate with a 60-acre vineyard and one of the most striking tasting rooms in the area. The two-story timber-framed building opens onto the vines and surrounding Hill Country, with plenty of room to sit, sip, and take in the setting.
