Lake Balaton is the essence of Hungarian rural beauty. Hungary's version of Provance.
You will enjoy stunning views, tiny villages with century-old whitewashed houses, and amazing formations of nature.
We will pass the beautifully renovated Abbey of Tihany,
which was founded 1000 years ago. For 7 euros per person we can look at the fancy baroque interior.
The tour is filled with beauties, interesting history and (if you opt in by sending us a message) very good wine!
The views, the great gastronomy, the fresh wines, the charm of the villages and the historical and architectural heritage of the region are all good reasons to make a trip here.

The pearl of the Balaton is the Tihanyi Peninsula. Thanks to the special attributes of its landscape, its geological idiosyncrasies, its diverse flora and fauna, it was the first designated nature protection area of the country. On its smaller hill a monastery was founded almost a thousand years ago. We can look at the beautifully decorated barouqe church. from the inside, if we buy a ticket. (7 euros per person.) This also gives us the option to look at the exhibition about the histroy of the abbey. In Tihany you will walk around this charming and famous little town on the peninsula with the same name, you will also watch a great video on Tihany's history and formations of the nature, then you will visit the famous abbey
