Overview

Guatape is a municipality located in eastern Antioquia, Colombia. 2 hours from the city of Medellin. It is a population characterised by its architecture full of colours and by the Piedra del Peñol being a monolith 220 metres high. This natural structure is also composed of quartz, feldspar and mica. To reach the top, you climb its 740 steps.

Reaching the top and seeing the spectacular landscape made up of mountains and the dam, is an unforgettable experience that will take your mind and your souvenir photos.
