You will be picked up in Jodhpur by an English-speaking driver and travel to the Jain temple in Osian. The ancient city of Osian is famous for its architectural temples, which date back to the medieval period. Located on the edge of the Thar Desert, Osian is easily reached from elsewhere in Rajasthan. The city has no fewer than 100 temples belonging to Hindu and Jain traditions.

Osian is said to have been founded by Utpaladeva, a Rajput prince of the Pratihara dynasty. At that time, the city was known as Ukesha or Upkeshapur. During the Pratihara dynasty, Osian is believed to have been a major religious and cultural centre of the Mewar kingdom. Many shrines have been devastated by the passage of time, but 18 remain and preserve the royal legacy of the past. After visiting the temple, you will continue to Jaisalmer, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location.
