Experience two of Argentina’s most iconic traditions during this private hands-on workshop in the heart of Palermo Soho.

Your experience begins with an introduction to yerba mate, Argentina’s traditional herbal infusion and one of the country’s strongest social rituals. Together with your local host, you’ll learn about the origins of mate, how to recognise different varieties of yerba, and the proper way to prepare and share it like a local. You’ll also taste different blends while discovering the traditions and etiquette surrounding mate culture.

After the mate workshop, continue into the kitchen for a hands-on alfajores class. You’ll prepare one of Argentina’s most beloved sweets using traditional ingredients, including dulce de leche and soft cookies dusted with sugar or coconut. From assembling the cookies to filling and decorating them, you’ll learn the techniques behind this classic Argentine treat.
